No. The unit automatically stops when the lid is opened — this is an intentional safety feature, not a malfunction.
Reencle has a built-in magnetic safety sensor. When the lid opens, the stirring motor stops immediately to prevent contact with moving parts. Once the lid is closed, the motor resumes rotation after approximately 10–15 seconds.
