◻What It Is
Reencle's carbon filter is part of a breakthrough 3-layer filter system that ensures odor-free composting — enjoy fast, convenient organic composting without odor. The filter is pre-attached to the rear of the unit; remove the yellow protective sticker before first use. The outer casing is made of recyclable plastic, filled inside with activated carbon.
◻Purpose
Filters and purifies odors before air is released from the lower rear vent of the unit.
◻Replacement Cycle
Every 9–12 months. Actual lifespan may vary depending on the cleanliness of the inner wall behind the mesh filter cover and the condition of the microbe.
◻How to Tell When It's Time
Reencle is well-sealed under normal use. When the filter is nearing end of life, a sour or stale smell will appear near the lower rear vent — this is the most reliable sign.
◻Filter Lifespan Depends On

- Mesh filter condition (a clogged mesh accelerates carbon filter deterioration)
