🔄 Mesh Filter Cleaning & Replacement (Gravity)Updated an hour ago
1️⃣ What is the Mesh Filter?
The mesh filter is located inside the chamber (inner bucket) — you'll see it at the front when you open the cover. It's held in place by a lever. It has no fixed replacement cycle — as long as it isn't damaged, it can be used semi-permanently.

2️⃣ Why Regular Cleaning Matters
- Clean the mesh filter regularly to prevent dust and debris buildup
- If left dirty, dust and debris can pass through into the carbon filter, contaminating it faster and shortening its replacement cycle — meaning you'll need to replace the carbon filter more often than expected
3️⃣ How to Clean
- Unlock the filter by turning the lever counter-clockwise
- Wash the filter with running water
- Remove all moisture completely before reinstallation
- Secure it by turning the lever clockwiseto ensure a proper seal
- Press firmly until you hear a clear click — this confirms the filter is properly secured
4️⃣ ⚠️ Important: Make Sure the Lever Is Fully Locked
The Gravity holds the mesh filter in place using this lever. If it isn't fully locked, the filter can come loose and fall into the chamber — where it may be damaged by the rotating stirring rod. Always double-check that the lever is securely locked after reinstalling.
5️⃣ When to Replace
Replace the mesh filter only if:
- It is damaged, or
- It has fallen into the chamber
